Pesto . A symbol of Italian cuisine. It is the "tomato-free sauce" par excellence.
The traditional recipe is here enriched with Ursini extra virgin olive oil.
As the name implies, it is a pesto without garlic.

Storage : keep the closed product at room temperature. After opening, keep in the fridge, covering the remaining product with quality extra virgin olive oil, and consume within a couple of days.

The Ursini " Pestati " are completely natural artisanal products. The best ingredients of the traditional Mediterranean gastronomy are used to create a concentrate of fragrance: fresh and genuine vegetables, each of them prepared (or cooked when necessary) separately, enriched by an excellent extra virgin olive oil, pasteurised by bain-marie.

The Ursini family boasts a long tradition in the world of oil. Already in the XIX century, the family was well-known for their expertise about olive groves. Nowadays, the magnificent Abruzzo's "Costa dei Trabocchi" hosts controlled olive groves, a family oil mill and a kitchen-laboratory, where wisdom and experience combine with creativity and innovation to conceive high quality oils and food products.

Olive oil 32%, PDO Genoese basil 22%, cashew nuts , extra virgin olive oil, cheese Grana Padano PDO ( milk cow's milk, salt, rennet, preservative: lysozyme from egg ), glucose syrup, salt, cheese Pecorino Romano PDO ( milk of sheep, salt, rennet), vegetable fiber of wheat gluten free , pine nuts, antioxidant: ascorbic acid, acidifier: citric acid, preservative: potassium sorbate.
